Stemming from her web-based art project, Canadian designer Julie Bérubé has revealed her Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
Following from the Haitan carnival inspired first collection, the second offering from FIELD of PONIES draws it’s aesthetic references from the pagan traditional use of masks in Europe still celebrated today, in particular the masquerade of Sourvakari in Bulgaria.
Julie continues with her crafty approach to design using organic cotton mixed with fake fur, real human hair, glow in the dark threads, recycled left-‐over materials and other experimental trims.
As with the previous collection, each piece is hand crafted in London from soft and comfortable fabrics, cut to fit men, but intended to be genderless.
