Regualr readers will know how much fun I’ve ben having with Eden Semilla’s Essential Oils, so I thought I’d share one of my favourite DIY recipes for a super relaxing bath scrub, which includes a few carefully chosen oils to sooth muscles and help you unwind.
Having previously made an invigorating and refreshing citrus salt scrub to effectively give your morning a boost, this relaxing bath scrub will help wash away a stressful day while soothing muscle aches. I chose to include Sandal Wood oil for it’s anti inflammatory properties, Bergamot oil to calm the mind and purify the skin, and Rosemary oil to sooth muscle pain. Unlike some scrubs which contain micro beads, this is 100% natural, and fully dissolves, making it eco friendly!
It’s super simple to make, in an airtight jar mix:

15-20 drops of each essential oil
Use to gently buff the skin, paying attention to ears that carry tension, such as the shoulders. Not only will this leave you exfoliated and relaxed, but also highly moisturises. As the ingredients are natural and contain no preservatives, it’s a good idea to use the mixture within one month, although if you love it as much as I do, it won’t last that long!
